# Servicing a Pressure Transducer

## When to service

FizzWizz ships with a spare transducer in the box. You may need to swap it in if you **overpressured** the unit or got **product or beverage inside it**.

## The steps

1. Disconnect the FizzWizz from the power supply and remove the lead.
2. Take the lid off (four crosshead screws). Careful: the buttons on the lid are wired to the circuit board underneath. Set the lid down to the side, still connected.
3. You'll see two transducers: the **CO2 in** transducer and the **head pressure / bright tank** transducer.
4. They unclip easily. Pull out the small plastic clip, then push the collar and pull the plastic pipe out.
5. On the new transducer, push the pipe in. About a **centimeter** of pipe must seat fully.
6. Reinsert the clip and clip the transducer back onto the circuit board.
7. Reattach the lid (mind the wires) and the four screws.

That's the whole job.

**Need a spare transducer?** See [System & Accessories](/system/) or [contact us](/contact/).
